Chocolate Pound Cake

  • 1 ½ cups Butter
  • 3 cups Sucanat w/ Honey
  • 5 Large Eggs
  • 4 cups Soft Wheat Flour
  • ½ cup Cocoa
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 ¼ cups Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • Preheat Oven to 3250

    Cream butter and sucanat w/ honey. Add 5 large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one.

    Mix in a separate bowl the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.

    Add 1/3 of the flour mixture and 1/3 of the milk alternating until both are all gone.

    Add vanilla.

    Grease and flour a 10" tube pan.

    Bake at 325F for 1 ½ hours.
